OBJECTIVE

Connect women in prison with the people, events and memories they are missing outside the jail cell by using virtual reality video.

PUTTING THE PUZZLE TOGETHER

Ask the women in prison what they miss the most from the outside the world - what they wish they could experience. A daughter’s wedding, a nephew’s communion, grandma’s couch, the cantina back home?

Capture 360 video of person place or event being missed. Share the memories in a VR Wish Library at the prison.

FINAL PRODUCT

We believe VR can be used for connection and rehabilitation, a tool for positive social change, as a window to freedom. We are currently piloting the project in Ecuador and would like to expand to New York state.
