Grand Canyon Colorado River VR Tour

The Colorado River VR Tour is an immersive virtual reality documentary created by immersive filmmaker Sam Baumel in collaboration with Aquarius Water Experience and CJ Conway.

The project transports students, scientists, and policymakers inside a 240-mile expedition through the Grand Canyon using interactive VR storytelling and WebXR technology.

We created an interactive virtual tour for students to learn about landmarks of the Grand Canyon and the importance of conserving the Colorado River.
